Rezension:
Ziuwari, the third full length album of Menhir, may be my favorite album they have done to date! This is the last album with Manula on keyboards, which is a shame bc she is so talented with the dramatic key changes. Anyway, I have both the CD and LP version from Skaldic Art Productions (V.V. Of Falkenbach label) and both have different art on the back cover: CD has live shots of the individual members and the LP has a pic of a reactment of Germanic Pagan battle scene, very nice!! The opening track, Wotans Runenlied, maybe the best song they have done yet! Very epic and talented, Menhir at their best! The final song, Ziuwari, leaves you craving for more as Heikos clean epic chants fade away the battle tunes...
